Props to Zach for the heads up on the writings of Thomas Friedman. First time I heard about Friedman was when one of the graduate classes at Azusa Pacific University was using his book The Lexus and the Olive Tree as a glimpse into understanding globalization. Friedman is a regular op-ed columnist for the NYTimes and has an excellent grasp on politics, foreign policy, and economic issues. This latest book explores what Friedman calls the "flattening" of the world [or the globalization movement in the twenty-first century] and it's impact on countries, governments, business, communities, and individuals.
Alas, yet another one for the pile!
