Wes Ellis

I am getting that book ASAP.

Derek Rishmawy

I read it a couple months ago. Its pretty darn good. I'm still not entirely on board with a couple points, but overall the whole sweep and scope of it is great. Also, 110 pages of the thing are devoted to exegesis of whole books. He does a pretty good job of critiquing both New and Old perspectives and even blending them at points. This of course is always my favorite strategy in theology. My one little criticism is that, even though his frustration is entirely understandable, it might be a tad bit too polemical. I say this as the kind of Wright fan who would donate a kidney if he needed one, just so he could finish his next few books.

Enjoy yourself.
