At sundown today begins Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year [literally, "the head of the Year"]. It was a time of deep personal reflection and anticipation about what the next year would hold. The traditional greeting given on Rosh Hashanah was L'shanah tovah tikatev v'taihatem or "May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year."
Here's to a good year... L'shanah tovah tikatev v'taihatem!
